Abstract

The growing concern over the adverse effects of synthetic pesticides on health and the environment has led to an increasing interest in plant-based pesticides. This paper explores the formulation and field evaluation of synergistic plant-based pesticides, emphasizing their efficacy, safety, and sustainability in pest management Plant-based pesticides have garnered attention as eco-friendly alternatives to traditional synthetic pesticides. Synergism—the interaction of two or more compounds that enhances their effectiveness—plays a crucial role in improving the efficacy of these natural pesticides. This paper reviews the principles of synergism, the selection of suitable plant sources, and various formulation techniques, including extraction methods and stability testing.
